Biolog-id has been retained as a finalist for the RFID Awards in the category "Best in Show Awards" for having exhibited one of the best products of the 2011 publications: a RFID complete solution allowing for traceability of blood products. “To ensure the traceability of blood products thanks to the RFID, explains Jean-Claude Mongrenier, President of Biolog-id, it is necessary to reinforce the security of the process and to optimise the performance. This project of traceability in the blood products, protected by 25 patents, was close to my heart following my career in health and biology. Three important pilots have just been finalised, led by the French Authority on blood (from 2007 to 2009) and the Laboratory of Fractionation and Biotechnology.
