Meet Maxence and Armand

Software Designer

After discovering his passion for computing at high school, Maxence spent a summer at Ecole 42, a revolutionary provider of engineering studies, to make sure the field was right for him. Having fallen in love with IT, Maxence continued his studies with a technical diploma in computing.

“I saw a good opportunity at Biolog-id while I was looking for an internship… I have always been interested in innovative healthcare technology, which is forever evolving.”

Maxence joined Biolog-id on a work placement as part of his course, where he worked on IT development projects, signing a two-year apprenticeship contract as a Software Developer.

“I needed to apply my classroom knowledge in a professional environment, and the apprenticeship was the perfect way to do so! I had the opportunity to quickly upgrade my skills by using them every day.”

Since joining Biolog-id, Maxence has developed his knowledge of C#, and is working to develop applications for our solutions.

“One thing is for sure: I’ll keep working in this field! I love the operational side and want to develop my expertise!”

Maxence now wants to complete a fifth year to obtain an overview of all the IT projects.

Project Leader

“It was important that I gained professional experience alongside my studies: I had the opportunity to join Biolog-id as an intern… and so began my first steps in the working world!”

Armand began his Biolog-id experience as a production operator technician for four months, which gave him an introduction to our business.

A few months later, he joined Biolog-id as an apprentice engineer on a three-year apprenticeship!

“It was important to complement my studies with some professional experience to acquire the knowledge and skills I needed. Vocational training is the perfect solution, and one that also let me be financially independent!”

Armand started as a Project Leader, responsible for a range of technical projects that he managed end-to-end. It gave him a chance to combine project management with the technical side of the business, which he first encountered during his initial experience at Biolog-id.

“As part of my course, I had to complete a work placement abroad, and the opportunities available in Biolog-id’s international subsidiaries meant that I could do so in the same company.”

Armand returned to Biolog-id as an Applications Engineer, discovering a new facet of Biolog-id: he worked on audits and rolling out the solution for the customer, and was involved in technical and R&D projects.

“After my course I wanted to keep working as an Applications Engineer, so that I could have a more strategic view after gaining several years ‘ experience!”
